A businessman in the Serik district of Antalya reported to the prosecutor’s office that he had been asked for a bribe of 1 million lira for a job to be done at an institution. The prosecutor’s office conducted an operation with the gendarmerie yesterday when the serial-numbered money was delivered to former CHP Serik District Chairman Y.E. The gendarmerie detained Y.E. at the scene. It was learned that Y.E. served as the CHP Serik District Chairman between 2018 and 2020.
