In the case related to the Saraçhane protests that started after the detention of IBB Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, the ban on leaving the country was lifted for all 139 defendants charged with “opposing the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations”. During the hearing held at Istanbul 49th Criminal Court of First Instance, the prosecutor’s office also expressed its opinion in favor of lifting the ban. The trial adjourned until June 30th.
