Evrensel columnist Fatih Polat and former reporter Damla Kırmızıtaş gave statements again in a case alleging that they took photographs in the courtroom while covering the Kobane trial. Defending himself at Istanbul 68th Criminal Court of First Instance, Polat said there was no concrete evidence in the file that they had taken photographs, their phones had not been checked and no report had been drawn up against them during the hearing. Evrensel lawyer Devrim Avcı also argued that the file contained no evidence supporting the charge.
