A total of 41 people were arrested in Ankara and Mersin as part of the “Ailem Güvende” operations. Of 21 people detained in Ankara, 13, including principal members of Kaos GL’s executive and audit boards and journalist Tuğba Tekerek, were arrested, while seven were released under judicial control. One person who had previously been placed under house arrest in the same investigation was released. In Mersin, 28 people detained on 13 September were arrested and eight were released under judicial control.
