The second hearing of the case against TÜSİAD President Orhan Turan and High Advisory Council Chairman Ömer Aras was held. Turan argued that his speech was about the predictability of the law. Aras emphasized the link between the economy and the law. In the previous hearing, the prosecutor had asked for 1 year and 10 months to 5 years and 6 months in prison on charges of “spreading misleading information” and “attempting to influence a fair trial”. The court did not make a decision and adjourned the hearing to January 20.
