President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan came together with Anadolu Agency and students studying within the Young Talent Development Project of TRT World at the Intercontinental Hotel within his visit to the U.K. Erdoğan claimed that the arrested journalists in Turkey are not journalists.
Speaking at the meeting, Erdoğan expressed that one TV show in the U.K. expressed that there are “currently 254 journalists behind bars in Turkey.” “There is no such number. On the contrary, those are not journalists. Terrorist organizations have handed them a press card; they are terrorists, they are robbers,” stated Erdoğan.
