The protest organised within the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women with the call of Antalya Women’s Platform, slogans and banners which stated, “Say no to child abuse,” “Prevent murder, not alimony,” “We don’t want a love that kills,” “Women don’t want war” were banned. Muratpaşa District Governorate claimed that the slogans and banners could “lead to reactions from people with different opinions and therefore disrupt the atmosphere of peace and trust in the town.”
