Ankara University initiated disciplinary proceedings against 32 students months later for participating in a protest at the Tandoğan Central Campus on March 19, 2025. The students were sent minutes containing camera recordings and photographs of damaged institutional materials. Reacting to the investigation, the students described this step as “an attempt to suppress voices that do not conform to the political line of the government.”
