In the lawsuit filed against manager Ayşe Barım, who allegedly directed artists to the protests during the Gezi Park resistance and was the planner of the events, a detention review was held. Istanbul 26th High Criminal Court decided to continue Barım’s detention. Barım is on trial for “aiding and abetting the attempt to overthrow the government or obstruct its duty by using force and violence” with a prison sentence ranging from 22 years and 6 months to 30 years. The next hearing of the case will be held on October 1, 2025.
