A lawsuit of compensation was filed against Evrensel Daily’s former Editor-In-Chief Çağrı Sarı and cartoonist Sefer Selvi at Istanbul Anatolian 29th Civil Court of First Instance due to the cartoon published on the newspaper on the ‘Paradise Papers.’ Parliamentary Speaker Binali Yıldırım demanded 40 thousand TL of compensation on the cartoon, that satirizes his tax theft with offshore accounts of his sons that were revealed through the Paradise Papers during the time he was the Prime Minister.
