The CHP Information Technology Officer O.G.E., who was detained as part of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office on allegations of “Ekrem İmamoğlu’s criminal organization for profit,” was arrested by the court to which he was referred with a request for detention.
The investigation alleges that ballot box data belonging to 11.36 million voters was matched with personal data in the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality’s “HANEM” application and that this data was “given to members of the criminal organization.” A total of 21 people have been detained and 10 arrested in the investigation, which has been ongoing since October 24.
