Businesswoman Leyla Alaton shared photos of a ballet dancer posing in ballet positions at Hagia Sophia Museum on the social media. An examination was started on the photos.
Alaton visited the Hagia Sophia Museum with a group and shared a photo of a dancer making ballet figures at the museum, writing the expressions, “A night at the museum. It is a privilege to see Hagia Sophia at night with a 150-people group. I am sharing with my friends one of those nights that makes me say, what a joy to live in such a special city.”
Following reactions by pro-government media institutions and social media accounts, targeting the post, Hagia Sophia Museum made an announcement on Twitter and stated that an examination has started on the matter. A group of people gathered in front of the museum, shouted “Allahu Akbar” and performed a prayer.
