DEM Party Ağrı Deputy Sırrı Sakık reacted to the ban on delivering sermons in Kurdish at mosques in the Diyadin district of Ağrı. Sakık stated that the ban is a continuation of the mindset that rejects the Kurdish language. Calling for the lifting of restrictions on the Kurdish language, Sakık announced that they had brought the matter to the attention of the Ağrı Governor’s Office.
