While slogans in favor of President Erdoğan were chanted during the ceremony, the blocking of the young people reciting the “Oath” attracted attention. The young people involved in the incident stated, “We were warned because we pledged to walk in the path of our forefather in his presence. Anıtkabir and Atatürk belong to Turkish youth!” This incident, following similar slogan controversies on October 29, received widespread public attention.
