Manager Ayşe Barım, who was arrested on January 27 for allegedly directing the Gezi Park resistance, was ordered to remain in detention.
Istanbul 26th High Criminal Court ruled for the continuation of Barım’s detention after reviewing the file. Barım is on trial for “aiding and abetting the attempt to overthrow the government or prevent it from performing its duties by using force and violence” with a prison sentence ranging from 22 years and 6 months to 30 years.
The next hearing of the case will be held on October 1 at Istanbul 26th High Criminal Court.
