According to the data shared by the Republican People’s Party (CHP) Aydın MP and lawyer Süleyman Bülbül, at least 120 meetings and demonstrations have been intervened against in the last four months in Turkey. All kinds of meetings and demonstrations were banned for 521 days due to the epidemic. Bülbül stated that 3,262 people were detained due to various investigations, and that 2,383 people faced rights violations in prisons. According to the data shared by Bülbül, at least 539 news articles were banned from access from June to October.
