Ankara 3rd Civil Court of First Instance announced its reasoned decision in the lawsuits filed for the annulment of the CHP’s 38th Ordinary Assembly and Istanbul Provincial Congress. The court rejected the lawsuits, stating that no concrete document was presented to invalidate the congress with “absolute nullity”. In the justification, it was emphasized that the results of the election are within the jurisdiction of the election judiciary, and that the provision of benefits to the delegates may be a matter of political morality, but does not constitute a ground for nullity.
