Access to JinNews and Mezopotamya Agency has been blocked by decisions made by the President of the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK). JinNews’ domain name jinnews.net was blocked by decision no. 490.05.01.2026.-66262, while Mezopotamya Agency’s domain name mezopotamyaajansi43.com was blocked by decision no. 490.05.01.2026.-66263. The decisions were made on the grounds of “protecting national security and public order.” The access ban was approved by the Ankara 10th Criminal Court of Peace on January 21, 2026.
