The Kayseri Provincial Police Department’s Cybercrime Unit blocked access to 102 social media accounts found to be publishing sexually explicit content and violating public morality rules as part of their online patrol activities. The teams stated that the access restriction decision was implemented to prevent the spread of such content within society. Throughout 2025, access restrictions were imposed on a total of 600 social media accounts for similar reasons.
