Nine of the 13 people detained in connection with the investigation into the CHP’s 38th Ordinary Congress were arrested on May 25. The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office charged the suspects with violating the Political Parties Law, bribery, and laundering assets derived from criminal activities. As part of the investigation, operations were conducted in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Sanliurfa, Kahramanmaras, Kilis, and Malatya.
