Under the coordination of the Izmir Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, police teams conducted simultaneous operations against the DHKP/C in Izmir and Adıyaman on December 23. In the operation carried out by the Counter-Terrorism and Intelligence branches, 27 people alleged to have been active in the organization and engaged in propaganda were detained. Searches at the addresses yielded digital materials, organizational publications, a hunting rifle, ammunition, and pistol ammunition. The detainees remained in custody for further processing.
