The Istanbul Anatolia Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office conducted a second operation on December 23 as part of an investigation into the Şile Municipality. During the operation, 22 people were detained on the grounds of certain financial allegations. The prosecutor’s office announced that reasonable suspicion of a crime had been reached based on statements and witness testimonies within the scope of effective repentance, HTS records, and MASAK reports. It was reported that one of the individuals subject to the detention order was in custody.
