The number of applications made at the Constitutional Court (AYM) since 23 September 2012, the day applicants were allowed the right to individual application at the court, reached 191,371. The number of applications made within the first six months of this year has been 17,892.
176,951 of these individual applications were made due to ‘violation of the right to fair trial,’ ‘37,294 due to ‘violation of the right to property’ and 26,358 due to ‘violation of ban on discrimination.’ 82 percent of concluded applications were found ‘unacceptable;’ decrees of violation were issued in 17,892, only two percent of the applications. 76 percent of those decrees were on the ‘violation of the right to fair trial.’
