17-year-old Ç.B., one of the five young people detained during house raids in Van three days ago, was arrested on charges of “being a member of an illegal organization”. Ç.B., who was detained along with Emrullah Derin, Hozan Çiçek, Bedirhan Erol and S.Ç., was arrested by the Criminal Judgeship of Peace on the same charge. Ç.B., who shouted slogans in reaction to the court’s decision, was beaten by the police. Lawyers stated that the police threatened them and that they would file a criminal complaint.
