Following allegations that Yılmaz Özdil would be appointed as Editor-in-Chief at Sözcü TV, 15 employees, including Editor-in-Chief Özgür Çakmakçı, were dismissed. Among those dismissed were Fırat Fıstık, Gülşah İnce, Meral Danyıldız, and Ozan Kelleci. In his farewell message, Çakmakçı thanked his colleagues, noting that the channel had achieved significant broadcasting success in a short period of time. Fırat Fıstık also said that he and 14 colleagues were dismissed due to the management change.
