In the lawsuit filed against 14 lawyers who held a press statement in front of the Istanbul Courthouse on April 3, 2024 against the appointment of trustees to the Van Metropolitan Municipality, the court decided to suspend the proceedings. The lawyers emphasized that a lawsuit cannot be filed without the permission of the Ministry of Justice. The court ordered the Ministry of Justice to write a writ to determine whether an investigation permit will be obtained.
