Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç announced that 14 people had been detained in connection with the “flag removal” investigation into the incidents on the Nusaybin-Kamışlı border. Tunç said that a total of 105 people had been detained across Turkey in connection with the protests, and arrest warrants had been issued for 50 people. It was reported that detention procedures were ongoing in the investigation conducted by the Nusaybin Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office. Tunç also stated that a new legal regulation was being worked on regarding children involved in crime and that the Parliamentary Investigation Commission was continuing its work on this issue.
