Lawsuit against writer Adem Özköses social media post due to insulting Atatürk
by Dusun-ThinkA lawsuit was filed against author Adem Özköse due to violating the Act No. 5816 on “The Law Concerning Crimes Committed Against Atatürk.”
The first hearing of the lawsuit filed against journalist Canan Coşkun due to “insulting the President” was held today.
The Initiative for Freedom of Expression, started with a chain of civil disobedience on January 23, 1995 with the prosecution of Yaşar Kemal at the State Security Court (DGM), celebrates its 24th anniversary.
