The first hearing of the lawsuit filed against journalist Canan Coşkun due to “insulting the President” was held today. Coşkun is charged due to the news she wrote on the arrest of Can Dündar and Erdem Gül, entitled, “Erdoğan orders, journalism is arrested.” The prosecution of the journalist will continue at Istanbul 40th Criminal Court of First Instance on June 20.
