Arrested Dicle News Agency (DIHA) reporter Şerife Oruç was released in the sixth hearing of the lawsuit filed against her due to ‘illegal organization membership.’ DIHA was previously shut down with an emergency decree. Batman 2nd Assize Court issued the supervised release of the journalist, who was arrested since 5 July 2016, scheduling the next hearing to November 27th. However, it was soon revealed that another custody warrant was issued against Oruç within another file and that she was taken into custody immediately after leaving prison.
