The Regional Court of Appeals returned the case file of 11 journalists to the court of first instance due to missing documents. It was ruled that an appeal review could not be conducted due to the absence of the proceedings, detention and testimony minutes in the file. The file will be sent to the court of appeal again after the deficiencies are completed. Some of the journalists detained through the Ankara-based investigation were sentenced to 6 years and 3 months in prison, while others were acquitted.
