Access to the social media account of Furkan Bölükbaşı, a troll known to be close to the government and who drew reaction with his anti-Atatürk posts, was blocked.
Bölükbaşı announced that the access ban was imposed upon the request of Prof. Dr. Erhan Afyoncu, the Rector of National Defense University.
Bölükbaşı, who posted on his social media account, targeted Afyoncu and said, “Is our President more important than Erdoğan so that an access ban decision is issued because I criticize him?”
Bölükbaşı stated that his lawyers will appeal the decision and said, “We will not let this matter go.”
