Boğaziçi University Senate Member Prof. Dr. Ünal Zenginobuz was not allowed to attend the senate meeting for the second time, despite the court ruling. Despite the Court of Appeals finding the exclusion decision to be “unlawful,” security guards blocked Zenginobuz’s entry, saying, “We have received instructions.” Zenginobuz’s lawyer stated that Rector Naci İnci had failed to implement the court’s decision, and announced that criminal complaints would continue and new applications would be filed if the Higher Education Council (YÖK) refused to authorize an investigation.
