Two Partizan readers who were distributing leaflets to call for the Sivas Massacre commemoration planned to be held in Sarıgazi on July 2 were detained on the grounds of the silhouette of İbrahim Kaypakkaya on their aprons. The police intervention drew the reaction of the surrounding citizens. It was reported that there was no outburst during the detention process and that the intervention was carried out over a purely symbolic figure.
