A lawsuit was filed against two citizens, who reacted against the accusations of Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu against Felicity Party during his election speech in Üsküdar, with claims of imprisonment for up to 2 years and four months each. The citizens were scolded by Soylu during the speech. The indictment, accepted by Istanbul Anatolian 38th Criminal Court of First Instance, charges the citizens with “public insult against a public officer,” based on the statements of three police officers under Soylu’s order.
