The Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) protested the detainment of party members and Parliament Members with the operation carried out in many provinces on November 4, 2016, as well as the detainment of many People’s Democratic Party (HDP) members in the past five years. The press release held in Van was prevented by the police on the grounds of the protest ban in the province that has been ongoing for the last 1800 days. There were detainments once again during the intervention and press members were attempted to be prevented from recording visuals. The police also intervened in the statement of the People’s Democratic Party (HDP) Ağrı and Izmir provincial organizations. At least 6 people were detained.
