Intern lawyer Sinan Bin was sentenced to 6 years and 3 months in prison due to “terrorist organization membership” in the lawsuit filed against him at the Istanbul 28th Assize Court, on the grounds that he used the expression “resistance” in a speech he made about the increases in meal prices during a symposium he attended, organised at the Istanbul Bar Association, when he was a student.
