The case of compensation to be filed by Adıyaman Governor Mahmut Demirtaş against journalist Hacı Boğatekin was denied by the court. Journalist Boğatekin had criticised local administration executives, who removed toilets from a school building, and said, “Toilets are necessary for the Governor’s butt, and not for the children of Bodin?” The Constitutional Court had previously issued a rights violation decree against the criminal complaint made against the news.
