The final hearing of the lawsuit filed against journalist Roza Metina was held on the charges of “terrorist organization membership”due to carrying out activities at the Democratic Society Congress (DTK), being a member of the Kurdish Writers’ Association and possessing banned publications in her home. Diyarbakır 5th Assize Court issued the acquittal of the journalist. The Prosecutor’s Office appealed the acquittal decree on the same day.
