Turkish Journalists Union (TGS) made a written announcement and stated that those working at Sözcü Daily are being prevented from their rights to trade union membership. The statement indicated that Sözcü employees, who are members of the Journalists Union are being held under heavy pressure to resign for the last three days and that the journalists are being threatened with dismissals.
