The Coup Attempt Media Case

Being the first case in which journalists are accused of ”taking part in the July 15 coup attempt”, in the Coup Attempt Media Case, six defendants including journalists – writers Ahmet Altan, Mehmet Altan and Nazlı Ilıcak were sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment for “attempting to abolish the constitutional order”. The courts did not even recognize the decision of the Constitutional Court. Our “Shadow Court” has given its judgment on the lawlessness in this process.
