Adana 2nd Administrative Court awarded the post of Yüreğir deputy mayor to AKP candidate Tarık Özünal. After Mayor Ali Demirçalı was removed from office, CHP candidate Cafer Boyraz had won the first election with 21 votes. Following an AKP objection, the court ordered the election to be rerun from the third round. In the rerun, Boyraz received 19 votes in the fourth round and was elected deputy mayor for a second time. After considering a second AKP objection, the court awarded the post to Tarık Özünal.
