The article of Yeni Şafak Daily writer Özlem Albayrak was censored due to criticizing the penalty against the Republican People’s Party (CHP) Istanbul Chair Canan Kaftancıoğlu. Albayrak announced the incident on social media, as well as her resignation after ten years of working at the newspaper. She also shared her censored article on social media, with the title, “Decree on Canan Kaftancıoğlu.”
