The police intervened against workers from İnşaat-İş and Dev Yapı-İş who were protesting against YDA Group’s rights violations at the Halkbank construction site in the Istanbul Finance Center. Many people, including union representatives, were detained. Unions called for solidarity, saying “Rights are not given, they are taken”.
