Van İpekyolu Co-Mayors Şehzade Kurt and Azim Yacan, who were replaced with trustees on November 8, 2019, were arrested.
Kurt and Yacan were transferred to the courthouse on Monday and were arrested due to “terrorist organisation membership and propaganda.” The Co-Mayors were sent to prison.
