A lawsuit was filed against 10 people, including former Republican People’s Party (CHP) Lüleburgaz district organisation former chairman Özgür Kaya, due to “violating the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations” after protesting the attack against Güven Park in Ankara on March 13, 2016 with 36 casualties. The first hearing of the lawsuit will be held on November 14th. The indictment previously prepared on the same demonstration with the charge of “insulting the President” has not been accepted by the court.
