The International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association Europe launched its annual human rights evaluation report for LGBTQs. Turkey was ranked second from last among 49 countries, which were evaluated on their recognition of LGBTQ+ rights. The report indicated percentages on the targets that need to be fulfilled in different areas of LGBTQ rights, and Turkey could only fulfill 4 percent in the total evaluation. No progress was recorded in Turkey in the areas of family, hate speech and crime, equality, non-discrimination and asylum, with 0 percent each.
