The Turkish Statistical Institute filed a criminal complaint against the Inflation Research Group, established by academics who are experts in the field of economics, on the grounds of “violation of personal rights”. Inflation Research Group manager and Cumhuriyet Daily writer Prof. Veysel Ulusoy said that within the scope of the investigation, an interim injunction was taken and the research group’s publications were requested to be stopped.
