An investigation was launched against 20 women, who participated in the march held in Taksim district of Istanbul on the 25th of November, the Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, on charges of “insulting the President” and “violating the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations”. The investigation file included the slogans, “Tayyip, run, women are coming” and “Jump, jump, you are Tayyip if you don’t.”
