YENİ Parti Deputy Chair Utku Çakırözer visited journalist Tuğba Tekerek, who was arrested as part of the “My Family Is Safe” operation, at Sincan Prison. Çakırözer said Tekerek was made to sleep on the floor in front of the toilet in a ward housing 40 people. He also said Tuğba Ağırşen, who was in the same ward and was reportedly nine months pregnant, needed regular oxygen support because of a respiratory condition and was also sleeping on the floor. Çakırözer called for justice and freedom for Tekerek, Ağırşen and the other detainees.
